Ada May Armstrong, sometimes spelled Adda and my grandmother, Olive (Mains) Kaune, grew up together, Ada was born 10 April 1877, and my grand mother was born 15 October 1877, they went to school together in Reno, Bond County Illinois, Aunt Ada married Lemuel Boyd, he must have died young because I knew Aunt Ada all my life, and I always remember her being a widow, she worked in the office of the Rail Road line, she and her husband Lemuel had one daughter, Faye Elizabeth Boyd, but I don't remember the daughter, I do know she lived in St. Louis, Missouri, though, Ada lived into her 90's and died probably 1967 or so, in St. Louis Missouri, she lived in Edwardsville, Madison County Illinois, the same town I grew up in, she of course was my grand-mothers Aunt, but we all called her Aunt Ada, (Mary (Harrell) Enos, Alton Illinois 1987)

Edia Fay and Ada May Armstrong were twins and caused quite a stir in the community when they were born, they were referred to as the "Wonder of Times" they were both baptized at the Elm Point Church in Bond County Illinois.

The First Baptist Church Kau Circle entertained at a Birthday Pot Luck Tuesday, Honoring 88 year old Mrs Ada Boyd of 174 E, High Street .Fifteen ladies were present gifts were presented to Mrs Boyd. Mrs Dallas Harrell her niece was a guest.
