covered wagon. They remained there for 6 yrs. then moved back to Cazenovia, Il.
in 1887. It is believed that Rozella the oldest daughter stay and married there,
and died there.

Rev. William McManis DeBolt was a preacher before 1903. He was a 1st Free
Methodist Pastor. He loved to preach. He would farm land for other people and
minister on Sundays. He had a old building in Pekin where he would stay for
weeks and minister to the very poor. Never made much money. When he preached
in Pekin, Edith, Carl and Russell were still at home. His wife would not go
very often as she said she needed a break. His son Russell told that he usually
excused his wife for being there because she had a headache.
He went to work a P&O (Portland & Orador factory) for 5yrs when he was laid off,
made plows, then he went back to farming, and worked by the month.
He started preaching in 1903-1904 in Goodfield, Il., Elmwood in 1906 moved to
then moved to Milford, Nebraska
until 1913.
He lived in Kewanee when he married Clara Stafford in June 10, 1903
He Preached at Hardscrabble Free Methodist church until it burned. He also was
preaching at a Methodist church in Peoria, Il., by Bradley University, they took
it down so Bradley could build Dorms and parking lots. He meet his wife Clara
there and soon married.
He died in Golden Garden's, Peoria, Co. in 1944 of Stomach cancer.
