Doris Ann Anderson Dunbar, 68, died unexpectedly at 5:49 PM Sunday, June 30, 1999, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Born June 25, 1930, at Monticello, KY, she came to Lafayette in 1948. She married Carl P. Dunbar on June 25, 1948 at Rossville, GA; he survives. Mrs. Dunbar worked at Hershey Elementary School for three years. She was a member of Country Lane Baptist Church, and enjoyed cooking, baking and dancing.

Surviving with her husband are three sons, Timothy G. Dunbar of Charlotte, NC, James A. Dunbar and Steve L. Dunbar, both of Lafayette; two daughters, Carla F. Redding of Lafayette and Kimberly A. Mattox of Buck Creek; four brothers, Gene Anderson of Canton, OH, Glen Dunbar of Mason, OH, Bob Anderson of Greenfield, IN, and Max Anderson of St. Petersburg, FL; two sisters, Kathleen Smith of Russell Springs, KY, and Brenda Sue Delaney of Baltimore, MD; ten grandchildren and one great-grandson.
