Lena Stevens Fort Fairfield 87. Wife of the late Charles Stevens, died 11-7-1983 at a Fort Fairfield nursing home after a long illness. She was born in Fort Fairfield 6-11-1896, the daughter of, Mellen and Erma Hopkinson. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and also a member of Goodwill Chapter No.85 OES of Fort Fairfield. Surviving besides her brother, Stanley Hopkinson of Presque Isle, are a daughter in law, Betty Stevens of Fort Fairfield, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sons, Gerald and George Stevens. Burial Riverside cemetery.
