Tim died Monday, December 8, 2008, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, after an extended illness.
Timothy Michael Carstens was born January 18, 1972, in Davenport, the son of Keith and Mary (Hartog) Carstens.
Tim married Deana Lindburg on June 4, 1994, in Aledo, Illinois.
He was employed with Horizon Group for the past 18 years.
Tim was a great sportsman, he spent many hours fishing and hunting with his father and brother. He enjoyed camping and spending time with family, especially his beloved girls. Tim taught his daughters to play softball as well as coached their West Little League Fastpitch Softball teams for the past four years.
Survivors include his wife, Deana, and their two daughters, Jessica and Kacie; his mother, Mary Carstens, his sister, Lynn Carstens, and his grandmother, Geneva Carstens, all of Davenport; as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Keith, and his brother, Brian.
