Mr. Anderson was a journeyman carpenter, commercial construction.
Funeral services will be held at Jennings-Lyons chapel on Saturday at 11 AM. Dr. Norbert W. Smith will officiate with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family suggest memorials be to either Hospice of Shiawassee or the First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Anderson was born in **na (ALMA) on June 19, 1917, the son of Samuel W. and Ina Mae Silvernail Anderson. He attended schools in Mt. Pleasant and Owosso. Mr. Anderson came to this area from Mr. Pleasant in 1932. On May 17 1942 he and Lois B. Warner were married in Owosso.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Owosso Lodge No. 81, F. & A.M. Carpenters Local 1373 and CRW of Shiawassee County.
Survivors include his wife; a son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. David C. (Susan) Anderson of Owosso; a grand daughter, Amanda; 3 sisters, Mrs. Russell (Louise) Cole of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Ralph (Nellie) Wightman of Owosso, and Mrs. Chas. (Winifred) **unk of Roscommon; 2 brothers, Samuel of Caro and Robert of Greenwood, S.C., step-mother Daisy Anderson of Pleasant View ( Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility in Owosso), a step-sister, Joseph (Florence) Immel of St. Catherines, Ontario; and “*unreadable” nieces and nephews.
