Shirley Ann Roeschlein, 81, of Brazil, passed away at Cloverleaf Healthcare, February 28, 2014 following a brief illness.

Shirley was born in Clay County, Indiana, August 11, 1932 the daughter of Frank and Ethel (Miller) Harden. Shirley graduated from Van Buren High School. She worked for Public Service Indiana and retired after 29 years of service. Shirley married Elbert Roeschlein in 1973; he preceded her in death in 1992.

Shirley was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

In addition to her parents and husband Shirley was preceded in death by her son Mark Allen Tucker and 2 brothers Jack Harden and Billy Harden.

She is survived by her son Larry Dean Tucker and wife Suzanne of Brazil; step-daughters: Elberta Meneely and husband Larry of Evansville and Phyllis Danhour and husband Curt of Greencastle; grandchildren: Krystle Raught, Mark Evan Tucker, Natalie Isham – Dean and husband Josh, Ashley Kester and husband Mike and Erika Tucker; 9 great grandchildren; siblings: Jerry Harden and wife Janet of Brazil, Jacquelyn Evans and husband Jerry of Brazil and Darlene Webb and husband Jim of Florida as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Funeral Information

Services will be at French Funeral Home, in Brazil, Thursday, March 6, 2014, at 1:00pm with Brother Jim Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 11am until time of services.
