Milton Eugene McKissack, 80 of Mize, MS, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on January 3, 2011 from 5-8p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Mize First Baptist Church with a one hour visitation prior to the service at the church. Mr. McKissack is survived by children; James Richard "Rickey" (Mary) McKissack, Mize, Milton Eugene (Debbie) McKissack, JR., Mize, Jack Christopher (Lisa) McKissack, Magee,Tommie Jean (Mike) Sullivan, Mize, William Terry (Cindy) McKissack, Seminary, Joseph Drew (Jane) McKissack, Mize, a sister , Rachel Ruth Allen, Mize as well as 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Mr. McKissack is preceded in death by his parents , Andrew Kelly and Stella Beatrice Riley McKissack, wife, Willie Mae Kinkade McKissack, children, Rodney Kinkade McKissack, Charles Thomas McKissack brothers, Thomas McKissack and Charles McKissack, and sister Doris Ann McKissack.
Pallbearers will be; Eric McKissack, Neil McKissack, Clint McKissack, James McKissack ,Blake McKissack, Allen Martin. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Todd McKissack, Tibby Walley, Paul Lowery, Carl Dean Jordan, Charlie T. Toney, Kerry Tuggle, JR.
