Linda "Cindy" Lundberg Bennett, age 64 of Ocoee, FL passed away peacefully on February 28, 2014. She was born in Painesville, Ohio on July 19, 1949, but moved to Jefferson, Ohio with her family, Ruth Knapp Moore, until they moved to Florida when Cindy was six years old. She worked for Cardiovascular Surgeons for 36 years as a Surgery Scheduler/Administrative Assistant. Cindy and her husband Jim had a passion for BBQ and she was a member of the Florida BBQ Association for 9 years, in which she was a Competition Master Judge and Contest Representative for 2 years. Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Bennett on March 3, 2013. She is survived by her children: Mary Bennett (Cliff) Poth and Michael (Michelle) Bennett; her brothers, Bob Lundberg and David Lundberg; her grandchildren: Alexander and Hannah; her stepfather John Moore (Pops); her beloved extended family; and her loyal dog Mia.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM with a service to follow at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, Winter Garden. A Private family interment will be held at a later time at Shiloh Cemetery in Fruitland Park Lake County Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Cindy's memory may be sent to the American Heart Association .
