Dolores C. Meyer-Roehr (nee Pepmueller), age 78, of New Haven, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 in New Haven. She was born in Washington on June 2, 1935 to the late Reinhard and the late Emilie (nee Bunge) Pepmueller. She was united in marriage to the late James Meyer on November 5, 1955; after his death, she married Kenneth Roehrs on February 2, 2008.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 10am at St. Peters United Church of Christ in Washington. Interment will follow at the Church cemetery. Visitation will be at Miller Funeral Home on Monday, March 3, 2014 from 4 until 8 pm. Memorial donations are appreciated to New Haven Care Center.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Kenneth Roehrs; eight children, Rich Meyer of New Haven, Sharon and husband Lee Pearson of Roswell, Georgia, Kathy and husband Larry Haberburger of Washington, Doug Meyer of Washington, Debbie Meyer of Webster Groves, Diane and husband Clarence Overschmidt of Washington, and Lisa Meyer of Washington; three step children, Kevin and wife Becky Roehrs of New Haven, Sharon and husband Jim Strubberg of New Haven, and Lisa and husband Jamie Longsdon of Leslie; one brother, Jerry Pepmueller of Dublin, California; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, her parents, and two sisters Loretta Kassebaum and Norma Lee Liesmann
