His date of death is uncertain. He is said to have been killed in 1676. He is also said to have been killed 19 Dec 1675 at South Kingston, RI, presumably in the "Great Swamp Fight" that occurred on that date, at that place. Soldiers in King Philip's War ..., George Madison Bodge, Boston, 1906, p. 182-84, details the colonial troops assembled for that battle, & presents many payrolls & other lists for the war. No Westc(k)otes, Weskots, etc., are found. He m. Katherine (?Rathburn?) c Aug __, 1663. Their children are:

3. Robert (2 Apr 1668-bef. 30 Mar 1723)
4. Dinah (12 Feb 1670[/71?]-living 1711)
