His age isn't given in the April, 1656 memo of his brother-in-law, Benedict Arnold (husband of his sister, Damaris)concerning the arrival of the family of Stukeley Westcote in New England. I have proposed July, 1620 for his birth, based on the date, 5 Oct 1619 of his parents.
His date of death is uncertain. He is said to have been killed in 1676. He is also said to have been killed 19 Dec 1675 at South Kingston, RI, presumably in the "Great Swamp Fight" that occurred on that date, at that place. Soldiers in King Philip's War ..., George Madison Bodge, Boston, 1906, p. 182-84, details the colonial troops assembled for that battle, & presents many payrolls & other lists for the war. No Westc(k)otes, Weskots, etc., are found. He m. Katherine (?Rathburn?) c Aug __, 1663. Their children are:
1. Katherine (6 May 1664-c 1692)
3. Robert (2 Apr 1668-bef. 30 Mar 1723)
4. Dinah (12 Feb 1670[/71?]-living 1711)
5. Mary (2 Jul 1672-?)
6. Samuel (18 Sep 1674-__ Jul 1745)
