Daniel was born in Smoke Hole, WV. and died in VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV. He was son of Thomas Jefferson and Minnie Kimble Shreve. He was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Kimble Shreve on March 31, 1997. two daughters, Ilene Virginia Shreve and Wanda Weimer. and son Justin Shreve.
He was a retired carman of 32 years for the B & O Railroad.
Survived by two son, Harley and Wayne Shreve and two daughters Donna Smith and Betty Brotemarkle.
