ORANGEBURG, S.C.--Pansy Ayers Groce, 88, formerly of Anderson, died Monday, July 19, 1993 in Orangeburg Nursing Home, Orangeburg.
Born in Bowman, she was telegraph manager of the Western Union, Anderson, for most of her life and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Anderson.
Surviving are a sister, Flossie A. Drawdy of Orangeburg; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was a daughter of the late Charlie E. and Carrie Cook Ayers.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn cemetery, Anderson. Gray Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family requests that memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
