DUNFERMLINE -- Irma Laura Ellis, 92, of 261 W. Elm died at 7:33 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 1998, at Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Canton.
Born Dec. 9, 1905, in Fulton County to William and Alta Alma Oviatt Burrows, she married Teddy M. Ellis on March 27, 1929, in Macomb. He died Oct. 22, 1988. Two brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ted (Jeanette) Vaultonburg of Dunfermline; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and four step great-great-grandchildren.
She was a life member of Providence Church in rural Lewistown, where she taught Sunday school. She attended St. David Nazarene Church in Dunfermline.
She was a member of Fulton County Farm Bureau, Fulton Central Homemakers Extension Association and Dunfermline Women's Club.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home, Canton. The Rev. Steven McKee will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Baughman Cemetery, rural Smithfield.
Memorials may be made to Providence Church or St. David Nazarene Church.
