Ruth M. Terhune, 87, of Milroy, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at her residence.

Ruth was born in York, Penn., on Oct. 26, 1926, a daughter of the late Beulah (Bupp) Weber and Edward E Weber.

She was secretary for Terhune Display Co. and proofreader for Harcourt Outlines, Milroy. She was a member of Milroy Methodist Church and helped for many years with the church choir, Literary Research Club and past member Rush County chorus.

She is survived by daughter Roxane Terhune of Milroy.

She was preceded in death by husband John R. Terhune on Feb. 24, 2002; son, John R. Terhune II; two brothers; and four sisters.

Funeral service will at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at the Milroy Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Crouse and Rev. Phil Mitchell officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Burial to follow in the East Brook Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to Milroy Methodist Church.
