David Christian Brunk, 84, of Sarasota, died Tuesday, May 7th, 2013 in Sarasota. Viewing will be at 10 am, Monday, May 13th at Bayshore Mennonite Church, 3809 Chapel Dr., Sarasota with the Memorial Service at 11 am. Burial at Manasota Memorial Park, Bradenton at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Bayshore Mennonite Church Missions.
Born in Harrisonburg, VA, he attended EMU and received an Associates Degree. He started out as a building contractor, and later became a business owner of Laundromats. He was a member of Bayshore Mennonite Church, was active in music, and served as Deacon and Elder.
He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Harry and Lena Brunk; Tyler Rutt, grandson. Survivors include his wife, Donna Yoder; daughter Regina Rutt, son-in-law Robert Rutt of Pennsylvania; daughter Paulette Brunk of New York; and grandchildren Cameron and Brittany Rutt of Pennsylvania.
