Died at his residence in Jones Co 30th Oct MR JAMES WADSWORTH, nr 75 yrs of age--citizen of NC during Rev War; he was actively engaged with Whigs in the struggle for Independence; subsequently removed to Hancock Co Ga; from there to his late residence, leaving a number of connections & friends to mourn their loss 11 Feb 1840--Macon Georgia Telegraph
