Mr. Stanley was born on Feb. 22, 1922 in Port Arthur and died Wednesday, March 19, in Woodville. Mr. Stanley was former owner of Edward's Funeral Home in Woodville and part owner of Nunnely-Stanley Funeral Home in Port Arthur, funeral director and funeral home owner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Y.G. and Magrata Stanley; and wife, Mary Jackson Stanley. Survivors include his stepson and daughter-in-law, John and Helen Rogers of Georgetown; and sisters, Kiddie Sinclair of Spicewood and Del Clancey of Freeport. Corrigan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
