Services for Douglas Hay Allen , 79, Rt. 5, will be at 2pm Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with burial in Little River Cemetery in Trigg County.
Mr. Allen died at 3:55pm Monday at Jennie Stuart Hospital in Hopkinsville after a two week illness.
A native of Trigg County, he was born May 17, 1897, the son of John and Etney Ricks Allen. He was a retired farmer, veteran of World War II, and a member of Boyd Hill Baptist Church in Trigg County.
Survivors include two brothers, Aubrey of Christian County, and J.A. (Tine) Allen, Cadiz, and several nieces and nephews.
