Paul Edmon Alexander, Jr., 61, of Waco, died Sunday, February 23, 2014, at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, in Rosemound Cemetery.

Paul was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Ella Clay (Jones) and Paul Edmon Alexander, Sr. He graduated from University High School in 1970, and served in the U.S. Marines before being discharged for health reasons. He worked in manufacturing and landscaping as long as his health permitted. Paul loved gardening and fishing; he could produce a huge bounty from a small backyard plot and catch a full stringer of fish where no one else could get a bite.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Katherine Ratliff.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Misty Rice; sister, Charlotte Phillips; his four Chihuahuas, Taco Bell, Bambi, Bourbon Bear, and Supernatural; and numerous friends,
