died today in his home.
Rev. Oldham was a Baptist minister for thirty-five years and
retired in 1919. He served the church in Morrisonville, IL. and
lived in Taylorville until moving to Benton.
Survivors include his third wife, Mrs. Mary Y. "Runnels" Oldham; two sons, Herman L. and James W.; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Cottom and Mrs. Carolyn (E.J.)
Griffiths all of Taylorville; four step brothers, James, Otis, Jesse, and Lemuel all of
McLeansboro. He was proceeded in death by his first wife Mary Etta Miller Oldham in 1928, his second wife Mary Ann Standley in 1931 and a daughter Mildred A. Nash in 1929.
Funeral services will be held in the First Baptist Church in
Benton and burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
