Born Oct. 3, 1934, at Harrisburg, Arkansas, the son of the late Myron Christopher and Euna Pauline Seats Shopher and was a longtime area resident.
Mr. Shopher was an independent Christian and obtained a degree in zoology. He loved animals and was a taxidermist for 55 years.
He is survived by two sons, Donald Myron Shopher Jr. of Jonesboro and Mark David Shopher of McGee; two daughters, Najaii Ann Shopher of Springfield, Mo., and Tonya Lee Brammer of Corinth, Mo. Mr. Shopher also leaves four grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services were in Pine Log Cemetery at Brookland. Faith Funeral Service of Manila was in charge of arrangements.
