Jeanette Duhon Lincecum, 82, of Orange, Texas, died Tuesday, February 25 2014, at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, February 27, 2014 at St. Helen Catholic Church of Orangefield with Father George Kidangen officiating. Burial will follow at Bland Cemetery in Orange. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in Kaplan, Louisiana on February 1, 1932, Jeanette was the daughter of Wilson Duhon and Marie Suire (Duhon). She had worked as a Clerk for Orange County Tax Office and had retired as a teacher's aide at Little Cypress Mauriceville ISD after 23 years. She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church of Orangefield. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She enjoyed baking and was known for her "Sand Tarts", "Tea Cakes" and "Gingerbread Cookies" but most of all she loved her family and loved spoiling her twin granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 49 years, Charles Philip Lincecum in 2003. Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Shirley Duhon and husband Earl; grandchildren Casey Duhon and fiancé Blake Tally, Courtney Duhon Telles and husband Josh; great granddaughters, Chrislynn Duhon, Paisley Telles and Sofia Tally; and brothers Alvin Duhon and Eric J. Duhon all of Orange. Serving as pallbearers will be James Ryan, Bobby Moore, Earl Duhon, III, Pat Burton, Roy Burton,Josh Telles. Honorary pallbearers will be her two brothers: Eric Duhon and Alvin Duhon, and Earl Duhon, Jr.. Those who wish to make memorial donations, the family request they may be made to Harbor Hospice or St. Helen Catholic Church Building Fund.
