Alyce Jennings Culler -- Orangeburg
Alyce Jennings Culler, 79, of 5458 North Road, Orangeburg, died on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, in the chapel of Dukes-Harley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. L. Arnold Gause officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Saturday, until the hour of service.
Pallbearers will be William Tyler III, Phil Tyler, Dr. Tim Bennett, Stephen Culler, Aaron Culler and Dr. Mark Krzyston. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Watson and the Rev. Matt Rucker.
Mrs. Culler was born in Gloucester City, N.J., the daughter of the late Richard Samuel Jennings and Elizabeth Carter Jennings. She was a graduate of Cope High School and was a member of Limestone United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Richard Emmett Culler and his wife, Susan DeLoache Culler, and David Allen Culler and his wife, Rosemary Norris Culler; grandchildren Zachery Taylor Brewington, Stephen Alexander Culler, Aaron Lee Culler, Aaron Robert Boggs and Laura Elizabeth Culler; a great-granddaughter, Taylor Lynn Brewington; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Luther Richard Culler; a son, Greggory Lawrence Culler; a daughter, Anne Jennings Culler; and a twin brother, William Clyde Jennings Sr.
