Daniel W. Aronhalt, prominent contractor, builder and property owner here since 1907, died Saturday morning in a San Jose hospital after a long illness. He was born in Ohio and was some 80 years of age.
Mr. Aronhalt came to Lodi in 1907 and followed the contracting business. His wife, Mrs. Belle Aronhalt, passed away in 1922.
Deceased was the father of Mrs. Lucille Polansky, Tracy; Marion Aronhalt, Oakland; Mrs. Evelyn Wellington, San Jose; brother of Mrs. Tillie Hurtle, Mt. Victory, Ohio; Mrs. Belle Godfry, Gooshland, Virginia; Mrs. Laura Coy, Prospect, Ohio; grandfather of Jimmie Wellington and Gerald Polansky.
