Services for Orland L. Foulks, 86, Davenport, are 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul
the Apostle Catholic Church, Davenport, where he was a member. Burial is in
Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.

Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. today at Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home, Davenport,
with a vigil at 7. Memorials may be made to the church or St. Paul the Apostle
School.

Mr. Foulks died Monday, Sept. 25, 1995, at home.

He was born June 27, 1909, in Cascade, Iowa, the son of John and Agnes
Mulvihill Foulks. He married Christine M. Ford Jan. 13, 1939, in Cedar Rapids.

He had been an outside Superintendent for Schebler Sheet Metal Co., Davenport,
retiring in 1971 after 26 years. Later, he taught math for five years at Scott
Community College, Davenport.

He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local No. 91, Rock Island, and
Halligan-McCabe Pallbearer Club.

He enjoyed cooking, gardening and helping those in need.

Survivors include the widow; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Gerald Downs,
Blue Grass, Iowa, Patricia and Joseph Curta, Davenport, Janette Edwards,
DeWitt, Iowa, and Angela and Dana Conner, Boulder, Colo.; a son, Orland
Foulks, Riverdale, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
