Survivors are his wife, Leota; son, Claude Cline Jr.; daughters, Mrs. Leona Lineback, Mrs. Betty Bodford, both of Winston-Salem, Mrs. Jane Britt; sister, Mrs. Bertha Yount of Charlotte.
