With the sudden loss of Our Sweet & Gentle Gizmo Kitty, we are now currently catless. Such an empty feeling.... :(

Gizmo was a truly amazing kitty... And our 1st & Only Himalayan. He looked and acted alot like Jinks, in the Movie "Meet the Parents" :)

I got him from a friend from work. He was 1 of 7 kittens & the 1st time I saw him, he was in a kennel with his siblings, who were all sleeping, but not him, he was crying & poking his paws out of the kennel as if to say, Hey See Me, Hear Me, please take me out of here,,, Enough said.... My friends mother said that no kitten would leave her home unless they got a bath first, so she wisked him away to a back room, when he returned, I noticed he had a strange scent, and she told me that she had a habit of spraying her girl kitties with Jasmine and her boy kitties with Musk. She then gave me a box to take him home, in which he curled up in ball, and fell asleep, and did not wake up until I got him home. He was a very small ball of fur, and my husband fell instantly in love with him. Due to his strange order, Boots, Missy & Speckels must not have realized he was a kitty, and would not acknowledge his existance for several days, but then he came into the living room where they were all playing, and starting jumping sideways in front of them, as to announce that he lived here too, and wasn't going anywhere soon.

Gizmo loved to get & give kisses, and he had a motor that wouldn't quit. Recently, my husband & I started living the RV life, and Gizmo came along too. It was in Mesa, Az, that he became ill, and we were forced to say Goodbye. Just before he passed, the doctor and her assistant sang the song "Soft Kitty" with me... It was a very touching and memoriable moment. We will Miss Our Gizmo Kitty,,,
