He was a Baptist. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles, both of Sanford. Survivors: wife, Darkis; sons, Gene, Geneva, Glen, Astor, Robert, Deltona; daughter, Lois Porter, Sanford; five brothers; four sisters; 15 grandchildren. Oaklawn Park Cemetery and Funeral Home, Lake Mary.
