Funeral services for Mrs. Elaine C. Baker, 81, of Farmerville will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday February 23, 2014 at the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville with Bro. Kurt Auger officiating. Burial will be in Conway Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Mrs. Baker went to her heavenly home February 21, 2014. She was retired from First United Bank of Farmerville where she was a Note Teller for many years. Mrs. Baker was a member of First Baptist Church of Farmerville, as well as a Sunday School teacher for the Beginners Department and leader of the Sunbeam Missions.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Cole and Lorene Cole; and her brothers, Gerald, Tom and Jeffy Cole.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 63 years, Iro Baker; daughter, Debbie Arrant, both of Farmerville, LA; one grandchild, Stephanie Elias and husband, Jeremy; two great grandchildren, Anna Grace and Hayden Elias, all of Bastrop, LA; brother, Mickey Cole of Longview, TX; sister, Billie "Sunshine" Harrison of Houston, TX; special family, Elbert and Nancy Hauser of Shreveport, LA, Shannon and Jennifer Boyce of Downsville, LA, Haley and Mark Rodrigues of Keithville, LA and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Ken Cooper, Jimmy Odom, Jerry Taylor, Kelly Taylor, Shannon Boyce, Mark Rodrigues and Jeremy Elias.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.
