Frank O. Bull, 89, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014. Visitation 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at First Baptist Church, 29th and Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Frank was born Oct. 6, 1924, in Branson, Mo. He is a WWII veteran, serving in the US Army. Frank was married to Lucille Brammer in 1946 she precedes him in death along with two brothers, Glen and Everett. He worked as a laborer for the local Union 1290 for 29 years and then as a custodian for the Kansas City, Kan., public schools for 30 years. Survivors include his two sons, Richard of McLouth, Kan., and Michael of Kansas City, Kan.; his daughter, Lynda Swafford of Wellsville, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Frank last resided at the Golden Living Center, a place he truly enjoyed living. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the church.
