Mother: Most old records have her as HARMON, Miriam; however, the New England Historical and Genealogical Register Volume 151 (1997), pgs 31 for has an article on Jonathan Bliss and his family that suggests Rachel Puffer as her mother. No documents exists to prove either.
The old family histories have Miriam and Jonathan married 1848 in England.
