Vern and her late husband, Howard J. (Doc) Perrin were married for 68 years. Vern and Doc left their home in Wheaton, Illinois in 1943 and have been residents of the San Gabriel Valley ever since. They were loyal parishioners of St. Dorothy's Catholic Church in Glendora for many years. Vern is survived by her daughter, Kim O'Rourke(Robert II) of Rancho Cucamonga and her son, Bruce Perrin of Glendora. She also leaves two grandchildren, Robert O'Rourke III (Tracy) and Signe O'Rourke of Rancho Cucamonga as well as three great-grandchildren Sean O'Rourke, Colin O'Rourke, and Varya O'Rourke.
Viewing and rosary will be held at White's Funeral Home in Azusa on Sunday evening at 7:00PM. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Dorothy's Catholic Church in Glendora on Monday at 9:30AM burial immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello with reception to follow at 974 Glendora Avenue, Glendora.
