Mrs. Malcolm Elliott and Mrs. Clarence Boyer were recent hosts at dinner followed by a surprise shower in honor of their sister, Mrs. Henry Elliott, the former Miss Grace Elliott, whose marriage took place July 20, in McEwensville, where they are residing.

The marriage was performed by the Rev. T. R. Griffin, of McEwensville, where the bridegroom conducts a large farm.

The dinner party was held in the home of Mrs. Elliott, N. Third street, where a number of lovely gifts were arranged in the form of a pyramid in the center of the refreshment table. Mrs. Elliott was hostess at dinner to Mrs. Dewitt Mould and Mrs. Elizabeth Genger, and later a number of guests were entertained at cards followed by the shower and supper. Pieces of wedding cake, baked by Mrs. William Hollenbach, another sister of the bride, were given as favors.

Those in the party were Mrs. James Clark, Mrs. Malcolm Elliott, Mrs. William Hollenbach, Mrs. Clarence Boyer, Mrs. H. F. Shendell, Mrs. Henry Kissinger, Mrs. Warren Thomas, Mrs. W. H. Andrews, Mrs. Lynch, Mrs. Clarence Hain, Mrs. Elizabeth Genger, Mrs. George Sterrett, Miss Helen Lynch, Miss Clara Scholl, Miss Martha Price, Miss Emily Knabb, Miss Betty Elliott, Miss Helen Elliott, Miss Maude Kleinert and Miss Dora E. Miller.

The bride is a prominent member of the Business and Professional Women's club and of the Second Reformed church. She was employed by the Dewitt Mould's Women's Apparel store, Penn street.
