Our dear sweet mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Mary Elva Gunn Thompson, age 85, died December 24, 1990 in a Murray, Utah hospital.

Born September 4, 1905 in Hoytsville, Utah the daughter of John L. and Mary L. Stewart Gunn. Married Oris Waldo Thompson on September 10, 1930 in Salt Lake City; later solemnized Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died on December 16, 1973. Active member of the LDS Church and member Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Former resident of Park City, Utah where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Utah State Firemen's Association.

Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clark (LuWana) Wilde, Mesa, Arizona; and Paula Brown of Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Oral Gunn, Salt Lake City; and George Gunn, Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Funeral services on Saturday, December 29th, at 12 noon, Millcreek 6th Ward, 3805 South Main Street. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Friday evening 6-8 pm, and at the Ward on Saturday, 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
