Leo W. W. Carlile Dies At Decatur:
Leo Woodrow Wilson Carlile, 31, of Decatur, formerly of Springfield and prominent in musical circles in this city, died at 3:35 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's hospital, Decatur.

He had been in poor health for many years and was a patient at St. John's hospital here and the Macon county tuberculosis sanitarium before entering St. Mary's hospital. He was born in Panama, Ill., June 3, 1917, and was married to the former Miss Dorothy Hall, of Springfield, in 1943. He was a member of the Third United Brethren church in Decatur and the Musicians union in Springfield.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his mother Mrs. Elsie Hollenbeck, of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Earl of St. Paul, Minn., and three sisters, Mrs. Betty Saner, Mrs. Dorothy Harris and Mrs. Ruby Hale, all of Decatur.

Funeral services were held Thursday in Decatur and burial was in Wheeler cemetery, there.

Leo Carlile, Former Musician, Dies at 31
Leo Woodrow Wilson Carlile, 31 a former musician living at 115 North Hilton street, died at 3:35 a.m. today in St. Mary's hospital. Before going to the hospital, he was a patient in the Macon County Tuberculosis sanatorium for over two years.

Born in Panama, Ill., June 3, 1917, he married Dorothy Hall in Springfield in 1943. He later moved to Decatur.

Mr. Carlile was a member of the Third United Brethren church and the Musicians union.

Besides his wife he leaves his mother, Mrs Eldie (Elsie) Goldie Hollenbeck of Tampa, Fla.; a brother Earl of St. Paul, Minn., and the following sisters, Mrs. Benny (Betty) Sanner and Mrs. Dorothy Harris, both of Decatur, and Mrs. Ruby Hale of Oakley.

The body was taken to the Moran & Sons funeral home. Arrangements are incomplete.
