Natala "Tally" Belle Schwartz, 67, of Yukon, passed away at her home Sunday, February 16, 2014 with her husband by her bedside.
She was born to Beacher and Virginia Tillman, September 23, 1946 in Dayton, OH. Tally graduated from Gen. H. H. Arnold High School in Weisbaden, Germany in 1965. She received her Diploma of Nursing from Mercy Hospital's Oklahoma City General School of Nursing in 1968 and her BA in Human Resources from Southern Nazarene University in 1994. She married Michael J. Schwartz June 3, 1968, and they lived together in Yukon, OK since 1979.
Tally served the field of nursing as a clinical director, supervisor and head nurse mostly specializing in the field of pediatrics. She finished her time in nursing as Clinic Director for her husband's clinic Town Plaza Medical Clinic. She was a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur during her years in Yukon. She spent her home life involved in her children's lives serving as a Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout Den Mother, and busy with their school activities. Later in life she served as a CASA volunteer and Master Gardner to Canadian County.
Tally is preceded in death by her father Beacher Tillman of Rohnert Park, CA who was her champion in this life. She is survived by her husband Michael J. Schwartz of the home; daughter Tatia Cochran and husband David of Yukon; son Colby Schwartz and wife Brenda of Yukon; grandchildren Tanner Hall and wife Kaitlynn, McKay Hall, Campbell Schwartz, & Harper Schwartz; and great-granddaughter Rori Hall. As well as mother Mary Tillman of Rohnert Park, CA; brothers Michael Tillman of Muscle Shoals, AL and McKay Tillman of Kettering, OH; and sister Myra Parker of Burlington, NJ.
