Former Resident Of
Pine Grove Succumbs
Miss Mary Pearson, 65, former resident of the Pine Grove community, died at the home of her brother, W.H. Pearson of East Point Friday night.
Funeral services were held at the Pine Grove Methodist church Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. H.E. Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial was in the Pine Grove cemetery with the Dennis funeral home in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are her two brothers, W.H. Pearson of East Point and G.M. Pearson of Minden. Pallbearers were Phares Turner, J.K. Turner, Sidney Turner, Earl Cook, J.H. Monzingo and Grover Monzingo, all of Minden.
Miss Pearson attended the old Minden Female college in Minden as a young girl.
