He was a native of Noxen, Wyoming, Pennsylvania, USA., who came to the area 12 years ago from Springville. He retired after 32 years as a group leader in the shipping and inspection departments for the Bendix Corporation in South Montrose, Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II in the South Pacific. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2420 in Lake Wales. He was of the Lutheran faith.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Martin Brobst.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Renee Chomen Brobst of Lake Wales; a son; three daughters; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a sister, Shirley Moyer.
Services will be private at a later date at Orcott's Cemetery in Noxen, Wyoming, Pennsylvania, USA.
