Wanda Jean Sims
July 16, 1928 - October 15, 2013

Wanda Jean Sims, 85, was born in Parkdale, Arkansas and was the last surviving child of thirteen** children born to Andrew Daniel and Otta Curtis. She married Bernie Sims (deceased) on June 10, 1950 and made her home in Stockton, California raising their two children Jack Sims (deceased) and Betty Johnson. She was a loving grandmother to Betty's four children Riane, Kelsey, Ian and Holly.

A gracious homemaker and cannery worker before retiring, Wanda divided her time between family, the Rainbow Rebekah Lodge #97, the Loyalty Court #38 Order of the Amaranth, and volunteered for thirty years for the Commodities Distribution of San Joaquin County. Always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family, Wanda spent hours freely giving homemade handicrafts and goodies for the enjoyment of those around her. Wanda was a three time cancer survivor. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Internment is private.
