Burton Fulton Sr. Westfield 82. Died peacefully 11-30-2004. He was born in Mars Hill 10-28-1922 in Mars Hill, the son of Leo and Olive (Boyd) Fulton. Burton attended school in Westfield and at the age of 17 enlisted in the US Army for service during WWII. During his time in the Army he was in France, Belgium and finally Germany. After jis service Burton worked for several years for Central Motors and Pierces Service Station in Mars Hill. He was also employed at Vahlsings and McCains in Easton until his retirement in October of 1987. He was a active fisherman and hunter and loved gardening. He is survived by 6 children, Burton Jr. and his wife Judy of Livington, TX., 5 daughters, Patricia Gardiner of Lincoln, Cheryl McCann and her husband, Tim of Florence, SC., Naomi Little and her husband, Larry of Linneus, Bonnie Davenport of Fort Fairfield and Nancy Fulton of Westfield, 8 grandchildren, James Gardiner and Cindy of Westfield, Jean (Fulton) Fuentes of Moreno Valley, CA., Rose (Fulton) Veneklasen and her husband, Tom of Tucson, AZ., Kimberley (Davenport) Hastings and her husband Spenser of Gahanna, OH., Randy Davenport, Jr. of Fort Fairfield, Matthew Davenport and Cindy of Caswell, Brian Little and his wife, Ali of Portland, Jason Little and his fiancee Janet of Linneus, 5 great grandchildren, Nathaniel Fuentes of Moreno Valley, CA., Jackson, Nolan and Ximel Veneklasen of Tucson, AZ., a new 1 month old great grandson, Thomas Connor Hastins of Gahanna, OH. He is also survived by a sister, Alma Ryder of Westfield, a brother Rutherford Fulton and his wife, Ernestine of Westfield and several loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife, Hope (Vantassell), a brother Harden Fulton and a grandaughter, Joanna Gardiner. Burial Marshall cemetery.
