Evadna Linder, age 94 of 1090 Doan Road, Knoxville, Pa.
Passed away Feb. 17, 2014 at the Carleton Nursing Home, Wellsboro, Pa.
She was born Feb. 3, 1920 in Westfield Twp., Pa. the daughter of Dana Claude and Mary Evadna Bellows Baker.
She was married Jan. 10, 1940 to Kenwood "Pick" Linder who preceded her in death in 2001.
She was a homemaker and a devoted mother. She was a great cook, loved to bake and help others whenever she could.
She was a seamstress for her children as they grew up and was a partner with her husband on their dairy farm for many years.
Evadna was a 50 year member of the Valley Grange,
Butler Hill Baptist Church and helped with 4H.
She is survived by her children: Kaye (Jay) Weidman, Knoxville, Pa, Shirley (Bill) Canfield, Painted Post, NY, Kathleen (Benn) Tanner, Jersey Shore, Pa, Jerry (Judy) Linder, Utica, NY, Denise Symons, Houston, Tx;
8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister Frances Erway and brothers Clarence and Hugh Baker.
