He was born October 21, 1903 in Johnson County, the son of Willie and Missouri Allison Barker. He was a retired farmer and a member of Fish Trap United Baptist Church.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife, Lizzie Lemaster Barker; three sons, two daughters, two sisters, Rilda Tackett and Lexie Rose; 11 grandchildren,18 great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in Fish Trap United Baptist church with Elders Lonza Reed, Wayne Blair, and Jerry Colvin officiating.
