DARLINGTON- Albert Edward Sports Jr. 39, a construction worker, died Thursday morning November 25 from an apparent heart attack.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Belk-King Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery.

He was born in Darlington County, a son of the late Albert Edward Sports and Gertrude Jordan Sports.

Surviving are a daughter, Miss Cathy Sports of Darlington; four sisters, Mrs. George B. (Ruby) Driggers of Florence, Mrs. J.W. (Dell) McElveen of Sumter, Mrs. J. Ervin (Louise) Dixon of Hartsville and Mrs. R.T. (Mary Ann) Sellers of Atlanta, Ga. a brother, Julian D. Sports of Florence.
