OBITUARY

Betty Jean Sage, 62, died Thursday in Ketchikan.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing cards. She was involved with the Salvation Army Home League and Rendezvous Senior Center.
She was born on Dec. 8, 1929 in Grand Junction Colo.
Sage is survived by sons Alan D. Asuit of Ketchikan; Andrew Asuit and Jake Asuit of San Diego; and Michael Tehareo of Denver Colo. Daughters are Alice Asuit of Helen, Ga. and Arlene Jones of Louisville, Ky.
She is survived by brothers George Campbell of Placierville, Calif.; Ross Campbell of San Diego; Bob Campbell of Newport Beach, Calif.; Roy Campbell of Ogden, Utah. Surviving sisters are Mildred Rhodes of Ketchikan; Helen Searle of Ketchikan; Anne Batchelor, of Sacramento, Calif.; Marilyn Ladd of Colussa, Calif.; Ruth Bumanlag of Eugene, Ore. and Cora Coats of Palmer.
Sage is is survived by 11 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Salvation Army.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ketchikan Mortuary chapel. Rev. Albert Ketah Jr. will officiate. Visitation is scheduled an hour before the service at the mortuary. Sage will be interned at Bayview Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jason Sarandon, David Price, Bob Bucknell, Earle Searle, Kenneth Ladd, Jesse Rhodes and Rocky Henry. Honorary pallbearer is the Ketchikan Fire Department.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ketchikan General Hospital.

I came across this today and thought mom would have wanted this on her memorial. There is a photo next to the obituary which I will try to post. This was 22 years ago and I know some of the surviving relatives are gone now, I am trying my best to look up relatives and link them. Also, if any living relatives want me to take their names out please message me.
