1st Lieutenant Roger Douglas was the husband of Karen H. Knudtson and the son of Thomas H. Knudtson and Lucille J. Knudtson of Fairfield, North Dakota.
In Vietnam he was assigned to and serving with HMM-362, MAG-32, 1st Marine Air Wing. On February 4, while in support of an operation as the co-pilot of a UH-34D there was a mid air collision with another air craft. 1st Lieutenant was killed as a result of multiple injuries and is in a group burial at Arlington National Cemetery.
