Mrs. Bruce was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith. She was a 1936 graduate of the University of Minnesota, where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, and a lifelong member of PEO.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Robert C. Bruce; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Donald Nickel of Columbia; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Badia Amon Bruce of Atlanta, and Robert B. and Kristin Kos Bruce of Long Lake, Minn.; grandchildren, Deanna, Bruce, Barry, Marc, Katie, Mike.
A private burial will be held in Sunset Memorial Park, Minnesota, at a later date. The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive. Published in The Greenville News on Apr. 16, 2001.
