She was born Dec. 5, 1936, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Alonzo and Jessie Taulbee Warren.
Mrs. Stevens was a resident of Springfield for 36 years and a licensed practical nurse at Memorial Medical Center for 15 years.
Survivors: three daughters, Kathleen, Karen and Jacquelyn Stevens, all of Springfield; a son, Jack Stevens, in the U.S. Army; five grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Warren of Edinburg; and three sisters, Mrs. Aldo (Mildred) Pagliai of Bulpitt, Marjorie Colegrove of Lincoln and Mrs. Charles (Betty) Cook of Danville.
Services: Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Friday, St. Rita Catholic Church, Kincaid. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.
