Selma Schimke 82, of 251 S. Corinth Ave. Lodi died yesterday at her home.
She was a native of Russia and lived in various places in North Dakota, Washington and California before coming to Lodi 18 years ago.
She was a member of the Fairmont Seventh-day-Advendist Church.
She is survived by her husband, John Schimke of Lodi; four sons Benjamin of Lodi, Eugene of Carrington, ND, Harry of Pendelton, OR and Emil of Fessenden, ND, two daughters Esther Fields of Graham, WA and Ruth Patzer of Santa Rosa, CA, a brother Dan Bich of Martin, ND; 16 grandchildren and 24 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10am Thursday in the chapel of the Lodi Funeral Home. Internment will be in Cherokee Memorial Park
