Ernest F Anderson, 85, a former resident of Bacon Kill, died Tuesday. April 10, 2001, at Indian River Nursing Home in Granville. He is to be cremated. Burial will be later in the spring at Pike Brook Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

He was born April 6. 1916, in Clemons, the son of Peter and Bessie (Chaplin) Anderson.

He owned and operated Bacon Hill Auto Parts m Schuylerville for many years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude Anderson, who died in 1986, and a son, Donald Anderson, who died in 1998.

He is survived by a son, Ernest "Buck" Anderson of Bacon Hill; a daughter, twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
